Why this exists
A little bit of history on how "Our Family Memories" came to be, and where it's headed.
Our story
For years, the family's photographs lived scattered across old phones, a dusty shoebox at Dadu and Thamma's house, and a dozen different WhatsApp chats that nobody could ever search through properly.
This site started as a simple idea: one place, organized properly, where any of us — near or far — could open an album and actually find the photo we were thinking of, instead of scrolling for twenty minutes.
It's still growing. Every wedding, birthday, and quiet Sunday afternoon we remember to photograph eventually finds its way in here.
What's coming next
This album is designed to keep growing. Here's what's planned for future versions.
So each family member can have their own account, rather than the album being fully open.
An easy screen for uploading new photos and organizing albums without touching any code.
Upload directly from a phone, with photos backed up safely instead of living only on one device.
Eventually, search in plain language — like "show all photos of Grandma at Diwali."
A visual map of how everyone in the album is connected to everyone else.
Print a QR code for physical invitations or frames that links straight to an album.
